The NBL is about to come to a decision in regards to Mike Day's appeal to get the points back that he lost Sunday at Evansville.  If you remember, Day's license expired Saturday night at midnight at Evansville.  The NBL allowed him to race on Sunday with an expired license, which is where the controversy began.  Day found out about the problem the next weekend at South Park. 

With the help of Jerry Bradford, Day filed an appeal with the NBL. NBL president Darryl Carr asked board member Jason Richardson to poll the top ten NBL pros and get their take on whether Day's points should be given back.  The majority of the top ten felt that the NBL should give Day his points back.  Carr has scheduled a board meeting for this Thursday, August 25th and a final vote will be taken to settle this matter.  Stay tuned to ISTV for details on the outcome!
