HAYASHI DEBUTS NEW U-6 ALLOY FLIGHT FORK IN PHOENIX
How many eagle-eyed spectators in Phoenix, for the ABA Fallnationals, noticed the forks on Kim Hayashi’s ’06 Flight Expert bike?
For those not paying close enough attention – Kim Hayashi, current Girl Pro points leader going in to the ABA Grands, was running the first production pair of Redline FLIGHT forks. Made of the extremely strong yet super lightweight U-6 aluminum, Kim’s first comments on the forks were “They’re almost TOO light!”
The fork legs are made with an aerodynamic tapered tubing, with built-in fork tabs, and give the fork a unique look, as well as great function.
New 2006 Flight forks will both be sold separately (in Black), and also come stock on the mid-season generation of ’06 Bubba Harris Flight bikes (Micro thru Expert – in Red). Current models of Redline bikes come stock with a chromoly fork, and with the addition of the U-6 fork, Redline expects this change to lighten up the front end by nearly 25%. This should definitely put the “top” in RL’s top of the line production race bikes.

Redline’s U6 Alloy forks will also be available as an aftermarket item, in the color Black only, with an MSRP of $99.99.
Look for the arrival of FLIGHT forks just in time for Christmas – and be sure to check out Kim Hayashi’s race bike at the ABA Grands, to see what Redline has in store for 2006!
