Rite Bike Racing has stepped it up as a sponsor of the 2006 NBL National Series. Rite Bike Shop is coming off of a great year, by being the largest Bike shop sponsor of the NBL in the past season by sponsoring 5 national events as well as being the only Major sponsor of the Florida State series.
As a sponsor of the NBL one of the two Rite Bike Shop vending trailers will be at all of the NBL Nationals east of the Mississippi River. Rite Bike Shop will also vend at all of the Florida State series races.
As far as team racing goes, Rite Bike Shop is also going to make some BIG NOISE on Team Front. The highly successful HBR BMX Team has won the Team NBL title in 2002, 2003, 2004 and again in 2005. Though they will still be running a Team NBL team with some help from Rite Bike Racing the HBR Crew want to step it up a few notches and have now joined forces with Rite Bike Shop to unleash THE NEW Rite Bike Racing /HBR/prudential Financial team. The team will be running in the NBL National Team division, and ready to take on the challenge. Team Organizers, Todd Hines and Robby Metts have done there homework and signed some the best riders out there.
The team effort comes from a rich tradition of BMX Team Racing. The Rite Bike team won the Southeast Regional Open team competition in 2004 and again in 2005 as well as running on of the largest state teams in Florida NBL series and finishing 4th. The Prudential Financial team is a major player in the north as HBR and Rite Bike are forces in the south so they plan on being on major player on the national team circuit. According to Rite Bike's, Bill Woods, "Our goal in putting this team together is to be #1 but a big part of how these teams came together is a common love of the sport of BMX and that though winning is great our main reason for doing what we do is for the KIDS! This is true with the way we run our bike shop as well as our team and HBR and Prudential Financial also share in this belief." The NEW Rite Bike Racing /HBR/prudential Financial team has also hooked up with two of the HOTTEST companies in BMX Racing, Fly Racing and Hot Shoppe Design Factory so look for a fresh look for the team on the Race Circuit this season, as well as many super cool team Co Sponsors as well.
