2005 Marked the first year the mighty Dan's Competition BMX race team has teamed up with Intense BMX as their bike of choice. Dan's has been one of the longest standing factory race teams in the NBL competition, winning the team title 6 times in the past years.

When Intense BMX came out with their race frames last year, it was an easy choice to want to work with the Dan's team to help introduce the Intense BMX frames to the NBL BMX race community. After receiving a few frames, the Dan's team riders were ready to make the switch to the Intense brand.

Team Manager Teri Sonner has been at the helm of the Dan's team since its start and knows how to put together a winning squad. With an international team roster, the Dan's team boast some of the worlds top riders, many with national and world titles.

The Dan's team had some tough team competition this season and the year long battle went down to the last main event at the NBL Grand Nationals. When the last race was finished, Teri turned in to what she knew was going to be a winning team sheet, as the team had their best weekend of the season at the NBL Grands, winning many of the main events. When the finial scored were tallied up, it was announced that in fact the Dan's / Intense BMX team was the new 2005 National #1 team.
