Here are just a sampling of the shots I got from yesterday's NBL/UCI BMX Supercross race in San Jose. The action was awesome and the crowd really loved it. Even though there were no spectator bleachers, people didn't seem to mind standing along side the track to watch the non-stop action.
My hats off to the NBL, UCI, NBC and Dew Action Sports Tour staff for a GREAT event.

Check out the honestly breathtaking view of the gate. I stood up there and you couldn't have paid me enough to go down it along side 7 other riders.

Lastly, here's a shot that I just kind of felt brought the entire feeling from the contest. HP Pavillion in the background, Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour signage in the background, NBC Cameraman in the background, excited crowd (most of them non-BMXers) in the background!!
As Bob Tedesco came up to me and said during the podiums "Man, this is good for the sport" - EXACTLY!!


I also had the opportunity to get some shots from the dirt finals. Man, Ryan Guettler is unbelievable!
