In an awesome final, Staats / TLD's Robert DeWilde beat out the likes of number one qualifier and Staats teammate Mike Day and Redline's Bubba Harris to take the top spot at the UCI Supercross race at the Dew Action Sports Tour in San Jose, California.  The win also clinched the UCI overall World Cup title for Dewilde over GT's Randy Stumpfhauser and Crupi's Cristian Becerine.  DeWilde lead start to finish despite the fact that Day had lane choice in the final and took gate number one for the inside advantage.  "Afro Bob" had Day right on his tail out of turn one with Bubba in third.  In turn two, Specialized's Brandon Meadows dive bombed the inside taking out both Day and Harris, letting Australian GT rider Luke Madill and Free Agent's Kyle Bennett get by for second and third respectively.  All in all a great job by the NBL and UCI, the Dew Tour staff and NBC for putting on a great event!
