This track is UNBELIEVABLE.  You may have read other reports saying this track was mediocre but theyre dead wrong.  All the riders I have spoken with love the track, and maybe most importantly, the people at the Dew Tour love it.  Good signs for sure.  The Dew Tour and UCI/NBL definitely have their act together in putting on a VERY professionally run event.  There's even a media room right by the athlete lounge for us lowly press people to kick back, grab some food, recharge batteries, etc.  The athlete lounge has at least fifteen huge bean bag chairs, tv's, and enough food to feed an army.

According to the Dew Tour media guide, the top 48 riders from yesterday's qualifiers are in the show today, with Staats' Mike Day leading the pack.  Theyre going to have a regular 3 moto, total points preliminary round with 8 racks of 6 riders taking the top four with lowest points from each round.

The Quarter finals are kind of interesting because, according to the Dew Tour media guide, they are going to have another 3 moto round of 4 racks of 8 riders taking the top four to a round of 16.  Unusual for sure, Im going to verify this with the UCI guys today.

Check back as Ive got some great video from the Dew Tour UCI race!

From there its 2 8 man semis and an 8 man final.
